What's The Difference Between Inno1 and Inno2?

The short answer is almost none. Both versions have exactly the same size, shape, features, accessories, storage size, software, and functions. The only difference between the Inno1 and Inno2 is the way that the built in FM transmitter sends the audio to your vehicle's FM radio. Both versions include an FM transmitter that is turned on when you insert the unit into an Inno Car Cradle. The Inno1 has a much more powerful FM transmitter and works very well in most situations without any additional cables or connections to your vehicle\'s FM radio. Last year, the FCC and CRTC ordered XM and Pioneer to reduce the output power of the built in FM transmitters. In order to comply with this request, yet still maintain the audio quality customers have come to expect from such devices, Pioneer added an accessory called SureConnect to the new Inno2 with the throttled-down FM transmitters. This is in essence a cable that connects from your Inno2 to an area as close as possible to your vehicle\'s external FM antenna minimizing the distance that the weaker FM signal has to travel from the Inno to your FM radio.
